Who is Melissa?

Melissa Tyson is not your ordinary woman. She is a Certified Life Coach and Addiction Counselor with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology, a Master’s of Arts in Human Services Counseling, and now a business owner of Blazing Beauty Bar, LLC as of 2019. After having a mental health career for 11 years, Melissa decided to follow her dream, embrace her gift, and pursue her license as a Master Cosmetologist in 2017 at Georgia Career Institute. She graduated with honors and obtained her license in 2018.

For years, hair has been her passion since she started playing with barbies. Although Melissa started her journey towards becoming a Master Cosmetologist in 2017, she has been doing hair since the age of 14. Therefore, it didn’t take long for her to have a following of clients that appreciate her creativity. She has always aspired to own a salon so that she could create the perfect experience and help others feel great about themselves.
